CIE have taken varied measures and been fully prepared for an orderly work of welcoming freshmen. We enhanced our serving sense and strategies and stick to the idea of serving them with full heart. A tour guide in Youren College, a contact card for students’ parents, a handbook of college life, a family photo, an activity “Recharge” and many other measures, are all at service of new students and their parents.

CIE senior and junior volunteered themselves and acted as the guide for freshmen and their parents to help them quickly get acquainted with the big family of Youren College. They introduced the life and study here to make freshmen feel the warmth and care and let parents feel at ease.

                                           Contact card for Students’ Parents Bridges Gap Among People
To further strengthen communication and coordination among college, parents and students,CIE have prepared each student’s parent a card printed with the telephone numbers of teaching affairs office, CIE staff and students’ academic tutors, to ensure that parents could know and exchange ideas on students’ study, ideological state and daily performance. The well interaction between college and family is expected to promise the good performance of students in life and study.

To help freshmen solve problems in a new environment and quickly adapt to an independent life pattern, CIE students have worked out Student’s Handbook of College Life to offer life experiences and skills for freshmen. The manifestation of manual’s content is energetic and novel which is very popular among freshmen and embodies deep affection among schoolmates.

                                                                            A Family Photo Warm Your Heart
To record the important moment of freshmen entering into Youren College, CIE organized a photographic activity Splendor of Youren College and Growth of Students. Professional photographers were invited to taking pictures for freshmen and their parents in front the Youren Stone. Two photos were filmed on spot, one for freshmen and their parents, and the other put into growth record brochure. Parents were invited to write down their expectations and wishes on the record brochure and record this joyous moment.

                                                               One Recharge Reserves New Positive Energy
To further upgrade the service quality of volunteers who welcome new arrivals, CIE held a mobilization and training program for volunteers on August 27th. The importance of the welcoming affairs were highly stressed at the meeting. The host informed the attendees of the overall situation and arrangements of 2015 welcoming program, clarified service content of volunteers, work procedures, the do’s and don’ts. The volunteers are required to be well-prepared and encouraged to work passionately, politely, meticulously and thoughtfully. They are to represent the charm and excellence of all CIE students, whose brilliance work will leave  memorable impression of the university on freshmen and parents with.
