To familiarize the Year 2016 CIE students with our university and college, CIE deputy Party Secretary, Mr. Qu Yunfeng gave them a report titled College---Another New Page of Life, hoping that the young audience would be goal-oriented and adaptive to the new life style.

History of Yangling was the first topic in Mr. Qu’s speech which promptly intrigued the listeners. The Mr. Qu introduced the establishment, history and achievements of CIE. As to planning the following years of study, Mr. Qu pointed out that learning from mentor’s instruction, fellow students’ experience and personalized way of study all mattered profoundly. Quoting from NWAFU President, Mr. Sun Qixin’s interpretation of University : “the magnificence of University lies on great masters, grand buildings and great order, as well as the virtues of its members”, Mr. Qu again emphasized the importance of good morality in students’ growth.

September has always been the starting line of new college life. It is the best time for new students to adapt to college life and set clear goals of study. Therefore, the orientation education plays a guiding role in students’ growth.
