Youren College held dorm’s log design competition ---Twinkling Star Shining on My Dorm’s Door. This activity was expected to promote the 5-star dorm evaluation and beatify the living environment of students, so as to facilitate the construction of dorm culture.

Forty-three designs had been collected before the competition. The dainty and diversity in the designs revealed the imagination and creativity of A&f students, which included the fresh and graceful freehand sketching, the plain but expressive Chinese painting and the lovely cartoon. Twelve works stood out of the preliminary and were selected for final evaluation. The works won the students’ compliments for their inspiration and delicacy in design. Among so many brilliant works, the design of student Chen Xundong, taking the cartoon character Ahri as background was recommended the best for its manifestation of imagination and creativity. 

The courage in thinking, innovating and practicing of Youren College were fully demonstrated in this competition. This activity not only improve the students’ sense of ownership, but also create a cosy and home-like atmosphere in Youren College.
