Under the leadership of secretary Li Haihua, vice dean Liu Tianjun, vice dean Wang Xiaoping, and counsellors, 2018 graduate students planted crab-apple trees as a symbol of their love and gratitude for the college.

Ever since 2008 when CIE was established, every year’s graduate student will plant crab-apple trees before graduation. On that day, students cooperated with each other and got down to earth cutting, earth filling, and watering, delivering their hopes and sentimental attachments to the alma mater. Although the students would leave the campus for their future, these samplings will always accompany the university, and after many years, might turn into big trees and cover the land with greenness.

This tree-planting event not only brings greenness to the college but also represents graduate students’ long-lasting wish and gratefulness for the university. Faculty’s involvement also shows the college’s best wishes for the students. We hope the graduate students chase their dreams determinedly and make positive contribution to the country.
