Well begun is half done! Therefore, CIE has always been attaching great importance to the preparation for the new term. Long before the opening day of the 2021 spring term, CIE had fully flung into the work, which promised the success of the first meeting of this year on Feb 26th . The new term teaching plans were well informed to CIE staff who had then been fully plunged into the new term.

First, the CIE student affairs office collected the return information of all students by the internet platforms like QQ group and WeChat. The student counselors were in charge of confirming the date, transportation, and health condition of all CIE students. They soon worked out a detailed plan of student arrangement and submitted the report to the college office.

On the other hand, all faculty of CIE Teaching Affairs Office were all highly engaged in the teaching preparation, mainly focusing on the following three points: first, they learned to use the new teaching management system and kept practicing repeatedly until they were skillful enough to maintain the students and curriculum information; second, they finished the 284 Year-2020 students’ rearrangement (23 majors under 5 disciplines) according to the students’ intention and academic performance; third, they held the online meeting with the students to go to BGI College for co-education program, at which the heads of CIE encouraged the students to take good care of themselves and kept in touch with CIE.   

At 7:40 on the morning of the opening day, the Heads of CIE, all staff of Teaching Affairs Office, students counselors, form teachers and teaching steering group pitched into the class observation. All CIEers have a good start of the new term!
