At 4:00 pm on September 3rd, the Symposia of 2010 College Undergraduate Students’ Parents was held in the multi-media classroom on the first floor of our college. College Director Wang Guodong and Deputy Party Secretary of College Branch Qu Yunfeng were present at the meeting. More than 100 parents of freshmen attend this symposia.

  On behalf of college, Director Wang first extended warm welcome to the students’ parents for their coming, and then explained in detail the university and college’s current situation, pedagogical model and management system of students. Offering his plentiful personal experience in educational management and teaching practice, he expressed his expectation to the parents, hoping them to strengthen the communication with university and college, to know well the life and study of students. Meanwhile, the parents were expected to pay attention to the development of both college and students. Any ideas and suggestions for the construction of college would be welcome on the purpose of promoting the growth of students to elites. After that, Director Wang answered all the questions raised by the student’s parents, involving the grading, degree, learning abroad, campus culture and life.

  At the symposia, Deputy Party Secretary Qu Yunfeng introduced the relative information about students’ management of college. This symposia ended with success in warm and friendly atmosphere.
