| On the morning of Dec 13th, teachers from Wageningen University for the honors students programme with our university arrived, who would be responsible for the teaching in second phase. The initiation stage came to the termination at the completion of teaching in week nine and ten. Mr. Nel Wognum and Mr. Wouter Hazeleger from the Wageningen University, like their colleagues presiding over the previous classes would take charge of following teaching affairs. In accordance with the contract our university and Wageningen University signed before, they will mainly give instruction to students specializing in Industrial Management and Animal Science in weekdays of week fifteen. Teaching in week nine and ten concentrated on Research Methodology and Scientific Writing, while in week fifteen, it may cover the topics of Introduction to Management given by Mr. Nel Wognumand Pathways to Pregnancy and Parturition given by Wouter Hazeleger.
To guarantee the those classes fully prepared, our college conducted a questionnaire survey on the teaching efficiency of relevant teachers and general reception of students. Based on the results, Final Report on Survey of Teaching Efficiency in Initiative Phase of 2010 Wageningen University Honor Students Programme were strategically composed, providing instructive guidance for the the following stage. Mr. Liang HongSong from College of Economics and Management and Mr. Jiang Zhongliang from College of Animal Science, both contributed much to the preparation work. They keep communicating on internet with foreign teachers about the teaching content, exact time, class organization and other essential details.
Our college designated certain one to take full responsibility of printing and delivering teaching materials and courseware. With all our effort, we managed to provid instruction for students to make scientific study plan, encourage them to communicate with foreign teachers and suggest them preview the relevant course. University's other department concerned played supporting roles in this programme, with which the teaching can go smoothly as expected.
New ways of teaching will be introduced at this phase, such as teaching activity of practice and experiment. The evaluation methods will also be refreshed by applying written examination and oral quiz. Scientifically designed, Honour Students Programme with Wageningen University highlights the internationalized cultivation of our university undergraduate students. It is acknowledged by the students that, precise professional attitude, informative teaching content, flexible teaching methods and elaborate design of teaching activity of foreign teachers left them more than deep impression and profound benefit. The participation in this programme will offer constructive suggestion as well as reference for the teaching reform of our university. |
