On the morning of 9th October, A&F Vice Party Secretary Mr. Ma Jianhua, Vice President Mr. Luo Jun and other A&F senior administrators, accompanied by the senior staff of A&F Academic Affairs Division, Student Affairs Division and Youth League Committee, came to CIE for inspection. All CIE faculty took part in the inspection report.

In the first place, the honorable inspectors visited Youren College, learning about the facilities, functions and running of the workshops and talking with the faculty and student there. Then the inspection report was held in the Lizhi Fang, at which CIE Dean Professor Chen Yuchun reported the establishment and education philosophy of our college, the exploration and achievement in the past 6 years, as well as the new challenges and problems now. In addition, Mr. Chen exchanged his ideas with the inspectors about the policies for further teaching reform and the approaches of  Youren College’s development. Mr. Chen’s report was followed by CIE Party Secretary Mr. Ou Wenjun’s brief report about the students affairs of ideology, management and personalized development, and CIE Vice Party Secretary Mr. Qu Yunfeng’s report about the graduated students and the quality of newly-enrolled students.   

Director of A&F Academic Affairs Division Mr. Chen Yulin, director of A&F Student Affairs Division Mr. Wang Wenbo, Secretary of A&F Youth League Committee Mr. Cao Junhui and the deputy director of A&F Student Affairs Division Mz. Su Rong gave their suggestions of how to optimize the cooperation and promotion of colleges, how to refine the approach of enrollment, how to further the formative education and how to improve the quality of student source.

The inspectors listened to the reports and suggestions concentratedly and took notes of key points. A&F Vice President Mr. Luo Jun spoke highly of the efforts that CIE had made in the past. He pointed out that CIE had always been playing a vital role in promoting education reform of A&F, and had made great success in the exploration of top-notch innovative talents cultivation. The difficulties and challenges could never prevent its development or overwhelm the glory of accomplishment. He suggested that CIE sum up the experience of education, to grasp the opportunity of A&F comprehensive reform in talents cultivation for sustainable development and to work out new program more suitable for reforms of CIE and Youren College.   

A&F Vice Party Secretary Mr. Ma Jianhua expressed his appreciation of the great success that CIE and Youren College have made in the past 6 years. He also encouraged the Youren College to continue its role of pioneer in A&F student management reform, the role of the decision-maker and the supervisor of reform promotion. He suggested the college to be insightful and cooperative to enhance the cooperation with fellow organizations. Only with joint efforts can the education reform and exploration be effectively promoted. All other organizations were required to be supportive for the development of Youren College, as so to make a new system of student management with distinctions of A&F university and gather the strength for developing A&F to a world-class agricultural university.
