On the evening of 25th March, CIE held meeting, at which the Management Practice of Academic Tracking System of Innovation Experimental College of Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University was announced and explained to the students, hoping them to making reasonable plan for their all-around development. Over 40 people attended the meeting, including all college Heads, counsellors, class monitors and Secretaries of Youth League Committee. Deputy Party Secretary of CIE Mr. Qu Yunfeng presided over the meeting.

At the beginning, Associate Dean of CIE Mr. Wang Jun announced the notice of the Management Practice of Academic Tracking System of Innovation Experimental College of Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University, and presented in details of 8 points including the selection of students, the management of school roll and the management of tracking. Then, CIE Dean Mr. Chen Yuchun explained the newly-revised document and the cultivation of innovative talents of A&F. He emphasized the academic tracking actually is aiming at discovering the innovative talents of strong abilities and high comprehensive qualities. He then encouraged the students to be hard-working in study, as well as knowledgeable in humanity and responsive in their life. He gave satisfactory answers at the Q&A section, from choosing the discipline to Bachelor-Master-Doctor programme, from mentor choosing to management of credits and school roll and abroad study.Last, CIE Party Secretary made a closing speech, in which she expressed her expectations to the students of their study, research and personal development. The college would work at the utmost to help the students in their life and study.

This meeting furthers the students’ understanding of CIE cultivation model and helped them to make reasonable long-term academic plan.
