| | Recently, students of our college organized charity activity for the earth-quake stricken Ya’an. The hand-made cards and donated money for people of Ya'an were one of many ways the students show their great concerns over the event.
Pray for Ya'an
On the afternoon of 27th Aril, all students communists and students probationary communists of grade 2012 and 2013 organized the pray meeting in front of our college building. The students made various kinds of cards, cut into the heart-shape, wrote down their best wishes : Ya’an, we are always with you; be firm, Ya’an, be strong, China; and hang them on the cherry apple tree, to pray for the people in the earthquake stricken area. Foreign teacher Lucas was invited to join the activity, who put down his best wishes on the card and hang it on the tree to express his sympathy and support to Ya’an. It was solemn but encouraging meeting, for the heart-shape cards written with countless wishes to the people in Ya’an and to our nation carried our hopes and support. The organizer of the meeting, secretary of student second Party branch said that, in front of the disaster, a student communist was supposed to be a strong supporter and good example for showing great concern and making effort to better the situation.

Charity Donation
All students of our college were quite responsive to the appeal of charity donation for Ya’an. They spared no effort to give their hands to Ya’an people with their Youth League Committee membership fee. We had raised donation up to RMB 7395.4 till 26th April. The donation will be officially posted to Ya’an via the help of A&F.
Students of our college are donating money for charity
It is said that, the moment after the earthquake took place, our college in the first time found two Ya’an students of our college and asked about the situation of their families, showing their great concern.
