On the morning of 23rd December, Excellent Students Awarding Ceremony of 2012 was held by our college as a grand event.  Invited by our college, A&F Party Secretary Ma Jianhua, Dean of Ecology College Wang Hua, Associate Dean of Graduate College Yang Jiarong, Deputy Director of Propaganda Department of A&F Party Committee Yan Dezhong, Deputy Director of A& F Students Affairs Division Wang Delian, Deputy Secretary of A&F Youth League Committee Guo Jiandong were present at the ceremony, along with the staff, the mentors and the students of our college. The Party Secretary and Executive Associate Dean of our college, Professor Chen Yuchun served as the host.

The ceremony was commenced with a piece of VCR made by the students---To Identify yourself, to perfect yourself and to surpass yourself in IE College. Then college Dean Professor Wang Guodong extended his New Year‘s wishes, followed by the summary on the college accomplishment of the past year.  He said, he would like to give the best wishes to all the devoted teachers and the hard-working students, he hoped the students would enjoy the college life, with the heart of gratitude and the optimistic attitudes.

Next, College Deputy Party Secretary Qu Yunfeng announced the list of excellent students and class of 2012. Leaders and guests present awarded the students representatives the certificate of honour and took group photos. Student representatives Pang Meijun and Wang Na gave speeches respectively.

Last, Party Secretary of College Chen Yuchun addressed the closing speech. He summarized the achievements made in teaching and education reform in the past four years, that the excellent academic records of students of grade 2008, the talents in scientific research of students of grade 2008 and 2009, and the 74 published papers. He congratulated on the awarded excellent class and students, encouraged them to make greater achievement in the new year, to learn from the elite group and to be one of them.

The ceremony is closed successfully in thundering applause. It not only motivates the students to learn from the excellent group and students, but also lays solid foundation for making more achievements in students affairs work.
