| Led by College Party Secretary and Executive Associate Dean Professor Chen Yuchun, our college recruitment propaganda group made a tour to Zhejiang the other day.
Attaching great importance to the recruitment propaganda, our college established the special group, with College Dean Professor Wang Guodong and College Party Secretary and Executive Associate Dean Professor Chen Yuchun for team leaders, responsible for the plan-designing and organization affairs. Members of propaganda team to Zhejiang were College Party Secretary and Executive Associate Dean Professor Chen Yuchun, class adviser of grade 2008 Researcher Zhang Zhengmao, College Deputy Party Secretary Qu Yunfeng and secretary of College Affairs Office Zhai Li.
The team visited the Affiliated Middle School of Zhejiang Normal University, Wenzhou Middel School, Wenzhou Ouhai Middle School, No. 1 Middle School of Taizhou, Wenling Middle School and Tiantai Middle School, and attended the symposiums organized by those middle schools and Education Testing Office of Taizhou. At the symposiums, our team leaders introduced our university regarding its history, location, educational philosophy, disciplinary merits, international communication and cooperation and educational methods of innovative talents. In addition, the communication covered the construction of student base, autonomous enrollment, personal recommendation by headmasters and the guidance to students’ sci-tech innovation.
This propaganda tour served to promote the reputation and influence of our college, drawing the focus of the public. Meanwhile, we benefited much by fully understanding the recognition and intention of our university on the part of the students and their parents, which lay solid foundation for our further propaganda work in Zhejiang.
The tour also includes the visits to Zhu Kezhen College of Zhejiang University and Chuyang College of Zhejiang Normal University. Both parties of communication exchanged ideas concerning the innovation of talents cultivation model and reform in education and teaching.
