The results of the 6th A&F Challenge Cup Business Plan Competition (B. P. C. ) sponsored by A&F Youth League Committee was released the other day. Inspiringly, the plan of Training Institution for Professional Elites of Migrant Workers conducted by our college students Li Kaikai, Jing Ruifeng, Yang Guoli and Qi Hongshuai won the Gold Award and another plan titled Stars Rural Housing Construction Co., Ltd conducted by Guo Xiangxing, Zhang Jie and Zhao Xu won the Bronze medal.

According to contest rules, the candidates were required to work in groups for the full use of personal advantages. Before submitting the business plan report, they should make surveys, analyze and digest the data they collected. To better examine the ability of candidates, the competition was composed of preliminary and final rounds, in which both report review and public defense were involved. Hardly did our college hesitate to offer our great support when we got the notice, which helped to pave the way for the students to succeed in this competition.

In the first place, I saw nothing but gloomy future, because it was too hard for the first year students, said Li Kaikai, the leader of Gold Awards group, also a freshman from Bio-technology Class. “Were not for the teacher’s help and teammates’ cooperation, we couldn’t have won the Gold Award. The experience means more than a practice. More over, it was a big fortune for all the candidates. We will keep practicing the team spirit and persistence for greater success in provincial contest.”

Guo Xiangxing, the leader of Bronze Medal group, a student from Business Management Class,
Grade 2009 shared his feelings, “My experience in summer vocation inspired me greatly. It was happened that I saw some houses being rebuilt at that moment. Thanks to the great opportunity Challenge Cup provides, I came up with the idea of working on rural housing plan. I also attribute our success to the instructor Mr. Xia Xianli and other teammates. And there is still a long way to go for greater success.”

It was reported that the Gold Medal winner Training Institution for Professional Elites of Migrant Workers and other 24 plans would be recommended to compete in Shannxi Provincial B.P.C.. Wish them good luck and greater success!
