| On January 30th(Lunar January 8th), Professor Nel Wognum and Wouter Hazeleger from Wagningen University, Holland, came to our university and commenced the last teaching phase and Honor Students selection. From Lunar January 9th to 20th, Professor Nel Wognum conducted the course Supply Chain Management to the Economic Management majors, as Professor Wouter Hazeleger offered Pathways to Pregnancy and Parturition course to Animal Science majors. Both of the teachers combined intensive teaching and in-class group discussion. Course evaluation consisted of paper test and interview. Final grades, foreign language competence and interview grades of the students all counted in the selection for the final permission. 11 students were finally qualified for the admission for overseas study.
To guarantee the smooth going of teaching and learning in this second program, both parties came to an agreement that part of curriculum would be conducted intensively during the two vocations.
All the colleges and department concerned were fully supportive, like scheduling the business and life of the foreigners and offering teaching facilities and labs. The students were free from the worries of food and accommodation and teaching materials. The assistants also contributed to the program by mentoring the students in class preview and preparation. As it was during the Lantern Festival of China, we not only invited the foreigners for the fireworks show, but also held party with the students.
