| On the morning of June 22nd, 2011, delegates from Western Australia University, including Madame Eva Chye (professional advisor for WAU international affairs) , Madame Joanne Francis (graduates scientific research and scholarship office) and Doctor Liu Shimin (officer for China affairs and College of Nature and Agriculture Science) visited our college and attended the symposium at which our Associate Dean Professor Chen Yuchun were present with teaching affairs manager and student representatives.
The two parties focused their communication on the model of innovative talents training and appreciated their similarities in philosophy of schooling, as promoting general education, strengthening professional foundation, and developing the quality and abilities of scientific research at early stage of undergraduates.
They also fully exchanged their ideas in international co-education and schooling, reaching primary consensus. In addition, delegates of WAU greatly emphasized English learning that only students with decent grades in IELTS and strong abilities of scientific research can enjoy the admission to first-class international university for further education.
