Students from College of Innovative Experiment won all first prizes and several second and third prizes of Non-information Major Group in the Fifth Computer Program Design Contest which is hosted by Academic Division A& F and sponsored by College of Computer Engineering A& F.

Two types of contests were available for participants. Contest A is for information major students equipped with academic knowledge about data structure and C/C++/JAVA program design while the other contest is a voluntary activity only for non-information majors with primary professional background of computer technology and VB or C program design.

Students of our college were responsive to the contest and crowded to enter their names for it. After the preliminary contest on April 3rd and semi-final contest on May 22nd, our college students, including Yao Mingyue, Qin Zheng, Wu Di and Yu Haopeng won all the first prize of Non-Information Major Contest, while Wei Yunpeng, Gao Yang, Wu Zhaowei, Chen Lingqiuwon the second prize in the same contest. In addition, 7 Third Prize and 8 Honor Prize went to students of our college who took up 66% of winners in non-information major group.

The glory our students won for the college is actually a manifest of their solid professional knowledge and strong competitiveness. The great success greatly motivates the students to participate more contests of other disciplines.
