“This activity we designed was aimed at furthering the students’ understanding in fundamental knowledge and establishing a thinkable knowledge network in their minds. Preparing for the demonstration of their learning process, to some extent, is also a way of internalizing the knowledge they’ve learnt.” Mr. Zhang Dapeng, a teacher of Life Science College NWAFU said at the Jan 26th Biochemistry Assignment Exhibition at Lizhi Workshop of Youren College, who is also the organizer of this event. According to Mr. Zhang, this activity was also expected o facilitate the communication between the students and to further their understanding of the interrelation among the three bio-chemical metabolic systems.

The works displayed were all from the Y2014 CIE students majoring in plant science, who were playing the role of designers, service workers and supporters. All the prize winners were to be chosen by vote. Finally, the champion went to Liu Xiaowei, second prize went to Shen Ting and Zou Linhan while the third to Wangzi Ruoyu, Yu Yueyuan and Li Rui. In addition, Yan Lu’s work was awarded the Best Feature.
