The popularity of Internet and IT in education enables the extension of MOOC. This reform provides the students with access to teaching resources of high quality, not only in the way of traditional class teaching. To promote the reform in education and teaching and innovate the educational philosophy, CIE dean Mr. Ou Wenjun, teaching secretary Mr. Ma Chuan, students instructor Mz. Wang Yanwen attended the 2016 Chinese-Style MOOC Curriculum Seminar held from April 8th -9th in Yang Zhou by Zhihuishu Website. 

Zhihuishu, the renowned Chinese-style MOOC platform, has set up a groups of excellent online shared curriculum, breaking the boundary between universities. At the seminar, faculty and teachers from other universities were introduced the MOOC in terms of its educational philosophy and forward development, and the establishment and service of blended-teaching curriculum. Some experienced MOOC teachers were invited to share their experience, and all attended involved themselves highly in group discussion over how to construct a good MOOC.

CIE is taking this seminar a great opportunity to cooperate and further the NSWAFU blended-teaching curriculum and teaching reform. We are aiming to help the teachers in teaching-method reform via exploring MOOC practice and promoting online learning. The students will be supported in group discussion, team-based study, reconstructed learning process, and their online+class study. The construction of blended teaching reform will be accelerated as the interaction between teachers and students will get enhanced, the creativity and individuality of students will be improved. The knowledge-oriented teaching is to be replace with ability-oriented training in the student-centered teaching.
