On April 18th, the advanced mathematics class conducted by Mr. Zheng Lifei was held in the form of open and observation class in N8627. The students who had the access to this teaching reform practice are from CIE bio-tech base class 2015(1) and 2015 (2). CIE Dean Mr. Ou Wenjun attended the class.

The teaching content was excerpted from Advance MathematicsⅡ--- The Definition and Nature of Double Integral. Mr. Zheng Lifei initiated the class with brief revision of previous chapters and furthered to theories in new chapter. He associated multi-media technology with interactive teaching, which greatly motivated the students in class activities. From revision to introduction, the teaching design was so naturally connected. Student-centered, problem-solving-oriented, interaction-based and group-work-practiced class exercised the students’ abilities to analyze and solve problems. While being exposed to new knowledge, the students got inspired in critical thinking.
