Lead by CIE Dean Mr. Ou Wenjun and Associate Dean Mr. Wang Xiaoping, 51 student of CIE Bio-tech classes 161 and 164 headed for NWAFU Ki-wi Fruit Station, arriving on the afternoon of Sep 27th. 

Professor Yang Kiabao from College of Natural Resources and Environment, NWAFU warm welcomed the visitors at the field station. Professor Yang then lead the students to the gazebo where they enjoyed a full view of the site, then to visit the five sections of the station--- seedling breeding section, new variety breeding section, demonstration section of new techniques, experimental field section of key varieties and germplasm resources collection and preservation section. The students showed their great respect to Professor Yang who were so devoted to the science research. Professor Yang was also patient to respond to the questions raised by the students. 　

This field trip greatly enriched the visitors’ professional knowledge and inspired them in the field of research. In addition, the pragmatic style of the researchers greatly moved the young students. They will carry forward the research spirit and take their mission for national development.
