Wan Junru, Wei Yahong and Zheng Lifei, the there teachers of CIE attended the 2016 Annual Conference of Chinese Higher Education Development Network held in October 28th-30th in Hefei, China. The non-government body was established in 2013 as a fruit of joint initiative of Beijing Institute of Technology, Northeast Normal University, Southeast University, Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Qinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Taiwan University, Hongkong Polytechnic University, Chinese University of Hongkong, Zhejiang University, Ocean University of China and University of Science and Technology of China.

On the basis of honoring equal-footed cooperation and mutual development principle, the members are dedicated to promoting the communication and cooperation among the teaching development departments, educators in teaching development and the front-line teachers, to accelerate the improvement of teaching and learning quality in higher education field.

The 2016 annual conference was hosted by the teachers and teaching development center of University of Science and Technology of China. Renowned educators and experts in China and broad attended as keynote speakers. Pre-seminars, keynote speech, workshops, Round Table, 1+1 teaching development, teaching research reports were conducted as platforms for further communication on various topics.
