On December 19th, CIE held the Counselor Professional Proficiency Contest in the meeting room of Youren College. As required by the NWAFU, four counselors took part in as contestants, and Mr. Mr. Ma Yingtao from NWAFU Student Affairs Division and CIE senior staff serves as judges.

The contestants received the test on the acquaintance of their students information and then were asked to make detailed oral reports of their jobs and submit their written materials of new-term plan.  　　

The requirements of contest fully reflect the professional characteristics of counselors. The design of procedures and rules was based on the NWAFU policy. This activity aims at encouraging the counselors to improve their work competence and to shoulder the responsibility as political and ideological educators.
