On the afternoon of September 22nd, a delegate of Hangzhou Electronic Science and Technology University led by the Vice President Xu Jiangrong visited CIE of NWAFU. The heads of CIE and delegate exchanged ideas at the symposium on cultivation objectives, education philosophy, cultivation programme and model, college management, teaching management, and students’ evaluation.

First, the heads of CIE introduced our college to the visitors in terms of its development, practices, policies and innovations in education. The past 8 years witnessed the endeavors of CIE. Oriented with students’ growth, CIE employed Dual-metor system, optimizing the agricultural and forestry top-notch talents cultivation model and establishing a complete training system of scientific research and innovation capacity. As the Teaching Contract System put into practice and curriculum construction finished, exploration of inquiry-based teaching and teaching reform have been advanced, paving the way for improving the quality of talents. The establishment and development of Youren College was another exploration in this talent cultivation programme. 
Mr. Xu Jiangrong extended his admiration to host college. NWAFU is a key national comprehensive university with outstanding disciplines, which provides CIE with a open and supportive resources. Discipline-based cultivation model meet the demands of all students and the Teaching Contract System benefited the teachers and students. Theses are all experiences to be learned by Hangzhou Electronic Science and Technology University, Mr. Xu said. 
The two parties then exchanged ideas of the problems and solutions in promoting teaching reform. As pioneers of teaching reform, It is necessary and beneficial for both to communicate and cooperate more for mutual development.
