Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, all CIE faculty and students have pitched into the fighting against epidemic disease. Following the instruction of Party committee of NWAFU, united and goal-oriented, CIE keeps prioritizing the fight over any other political missions.

Responding to the call of leading group of CIE for novel coronavirus prevention and control, determined and dedicated, all form teachers had flung themselves to the national movement. By using the instant communication tool or line platform of wechat, QQ, phone call or texting message, they collect the first-hand trace of all students. As to the students who might have gone through Hubei province or have contact with people of Hubei province, the teachers do the contact screening timely and repeatedly. They keep reminding the students of reporting their situation daily, leaving no one unscreenedn.

Mr. Chen Yulin, the form teacher of Bio-tech class 1804, said to the students “Go where is the epidemic, fight it till it perishes. You mission at this critical moment is to obey the rules and take your responsibility in this fight. To protect the health of yours and others is to defend out university.”

In case that the panic brought by the epidemic disease jeopardize the students’ psychological health, the form teachers worked out precautions with the guidance of NWAFU --- setting up online contact network, popularizing the information of the latest situation and self prevention measure, and organizing online class meetings.

In addition, based on the online network, the teachers conduct a series of ideological education and guiding the students to combine the epidemic prevention with study in vocation. They inducted the students to defend their health, revere the lives and cherish the life.

Mz. Li Ziyan, the form teacher of Environment Engineering Excelled Class 1901, encouraged her students, “ I am so much impressed by your concern over the situation and your high engagement in the national fight against the epidemic disease. I hope your activeness will keep going during the next phase of national movement and your study as well.”

As reported by the mass media, the disease prevention and control has came to its critical moment. When NWAFU plays an active role in responding to the national call of securing the life and health of all teachers and students, it also takes effective measures to guarantee the teaching quality and teaching progress through online teaching plan.

At the release of curriculum schedule, all form teachers instructed the students to take part in the online class preparation, and encouraged them to take good advantage of all accessible resources for learning.
