To help the students learn more about studying abroad and plan their future, Qiao Wenjun, who is the director of Office for International Education at NWAFU, presented a report on overseas education program to CIE students. The report started at 16:00 on January 11th in the multimedia classroom in the CIE building.
During the report, Director Qiao brought the audience the common yet unfamiliar topic of “studying abroad” from the necessity of improving personal quality and the general information of overseas education program. He emphasized that, to pursue study abroad, undergraduate students should have a long plan, make full use of book and internet resources in the library, initiatively study professional knowledge, and endeavour to improve scores of English tests like IELTS and TOEFL. He also elaborated on the implementation situation of undergraduate overseas education program. Director Qiao encouraged the students to treasure their college life and keep up with the updates from the China Scholarship Council to achieve the dream of studying overseas and expanding international horizons. In the end, Director Qiao interacted with the students and answered their questions.
This report drew a clear and full picture of overseas study for the students, and inspired them to work hard for the benefit of personal value and social responsibility.
