On May 17 and 18, CIE Party Secretary Mz. Li Haihua, researcher Miao Yuyang, and student counselor Shen Zhongxun went to Xianyang Middle School and Weicheng Middle School for  undergraduate recruitment promotion.

The delegate first conducted interviews with two middle school officials and introduced CIE in terms of its development history, education characteristics, dominant disciplines, and featured majors.They then distributed publicity materials and souvenirs to encourage excellent students to apply for CIE. At the meeting, Mz. Li Haihua said: “In recent years, the Northwest A&F University has enjoyed a good momentum of development. It was also successfully selected as a “double-ranking” university in China last year. We hope that universities and high schools will deepen cooperation on the basis of previous cooperation and exchanges, to contribute to the development of students with joint efforts.”

Afterwards, Researcher Shen Zhongxun made a report themed on Youth and Dreams! For more than 300 students Jinggan Middle School and 240 students in Weicheng Middle School. The report started with Shen’s personal experience and sentiment. He shared his tips with the young audience, followed by a precise introduction to the Northwest A&F University. In the lecture, Mr. Shen analyzed some of the problems currently challenging middle school students and the causes of those problems. He encouraged the students to face up to the problems that have already emerged and solve them with great efforts. After the report, students and Mr. Shen had a lively exchange and discussion. Two senior students said that Mr. Shen's report greatly encouraged them and they would definitely study hard to win the admission of their ideal universities.　　

The enrollment publicity work was highly valued. Leaders from the two secondary schools showed the delegate school campus and introduced the school profile from the school history motto, student achievement and other aspects. The host and visitors have reached a consensus on continuing to deepen exchanges and communication.
