The reception is significantly important, as it is the first window through which the new comers and their parents learn about NWAFU and each colleges. On August 24th, the preparatory work of CIE was held as scheduled at the Xiushan Center on north campus. NWAFU Deputy Party Secretary,Lv Weidong, NWAFU Vice President Leng Changjian and Zheng Yingning greeted the students volunteers and staff at the reception, and encouraged them to create a warmer and more orderly environment for the freshmen. CIE Party Secretary Li Haihua was present and presided over the college reception affairs. 

The NWAFU heads fully affirmed the thoughtful and meticulous preparations of CIE for the orientation. Members of Student Union are in charge of the reception. They are full of energy and enthusiasm, and each move highlights the style of CIE students. Subsequently, the students introduced the creative works of the college to the university leaders: the unique handbags and the cultural shirts printed with college motto. Lv Weidong, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee talked to the students volunteers , hoping that they can guarantee the successful completion of the work with full enthusiasm.

Although the freshman's official registration has not yet launched, some freshmen and parents who have already arrived in advance. The student receptionists who have already prepared for the orientation at the reception desk soon got down to work. On the one hand, the volunteers lead as the guides the freshmen into the dormitory and introduce them the NWAFU; on the other hand, the staff at the parents reception outside the hall offered drinking water to the new students’ parents, caring and considerate.

Wish the new students can be perfectly integrated into the big family of the CIE, and wish the reception of this year another great success.
