On June 20th, the Y2021 Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony and Honorary Certificate Awarding Ceremony was grandly held in the square of Youren College. Representatives of academic mentors, course teachers, form teachers and all faculty members of CIE attended the meaning event. CIE’s Associate Dean Wang Xiaoping presided over the ceremony. All the 2021 graduates attended the ceremony.

To the solemn national anthem, the great moments came and followed by the graduate representatives presenting flowers and gratitude to their teachers. Then, Mz. Li Haihua, Party Secretary of the CIE’s Party branch, extended sincere congratulations to the 91 graduates on their successful completion of their studies. She addressed in her speech, the uprightness of morality and passion to life, the persistence in tough situation and responsibility for the nation, the pursuits for knowledge and the growth of competence, as well as the gratitude to the society and love to the world were all necessary qualities a college student should have.

On behalf of graduates, the students representative Gao Xiang delivered a speech. He expressed their gratitude to CIE and NWAFU for the four years of cultivation, recalled the fond memories of their college life, and reminded all peers of carving in the mind the university motto. “We will keep working hard for the realization of the Chinese dream, and for the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation!

Mr. Li Xiangtuo, Deputy Secretary of CIE announced the winners list of Year 2021 outstanding Undergraduate Thesis, Honorary Academic Certificates, Outstanding Graduates and Science and Technology Innovation Award. He encouraged all graduates to keep practicing the college motto of “Sincerity, Simplicity, Bravery, Perseverance, and Prominence in Knowledge and Action”.

Last, Mz. Li Haihua awarded certificates to all graduates. Mr. Wang Xiaoping extended his best wishes to the graduates. The ceremony ended after the teachers and all the graduates taking a group photo.
