On the evening of October 13th, CIE invited professor Zheng Huiling from College of Animal Science to give a lecture on The Design and Production of Academic Poster. This report will serve to enrich the students knowledge and improve their skills in making academic poster of high quality, fully prepared for the The 8th Youren College Poster Exhibition and Competition of Innovative Training Project.

At the lecture, Professor Zheng introduced the importance of academic poster in academic communication, and its efficiency, preciseness and attractiveness. Then, she focused her report on the layout, content, design philosophy, and ways of production of the posters. With illustrations by those excellent posters of the past years, her report greatly enhanced the students’ understanding of academic posters. The students were very active in the Q& A session.
