To celebrate the coming 45th World Earth Day, students of CIE held the Waste to Wealth recycling material handcraft completion on 22nd April.

The creative contestants turned the normal used paper, paper box, plastic bottles and other recycling materials to useful handcrafts. Some recycled the paper box to storage box, while some made delicate pen holder out of plastic bottles, and some paste the used A4 paper with paper box and turned it into a beautiful photo frame. The smart design and finely made handcrafts soon became a hit among the students. The contestants then explained the making procedures of their works and then made persuasive canvassing speech.

This activity is designed to promote the philosophy of environmental protection of recycling and thrifty, as well as to improve their ability to think-and-do, therefore to encourage more students join in the team of environmental protection.
