As early as this summer holiday, CIE has started out to organize the reception for new CIE students. It is the five ONEs focusing on the service quality that guarantees the smooth going of the activity. ONE seminar, ONE information card, ONE handbook, ONE family photo and ONE enrichment activity were considerately designed  for the new CIE students and there parents.

                                                                                     ONE Effective Seminar
The reception of newly-recruited students always takes priority over other affairs at the new term season, therefore requires high involvement of all college staff. Our college held the meeting about this big event on 12th August and handed out the Plan of Reception of Y2014 CIE Students, in which the reception work and the selection of Innovation Experimental Class students are listed the top two works of this new term. Staff of all college offices were supposed to give first-class service for the new members of our college.

                                                                                     ONE Information Card
To enhance the cooperation and communication between college, students’ parents and students, our college handed out to all freshmen’s parents an information card with all essential college telephone numbers on. This design is to help the parents to know about the study, life and behavior of their children at college, so as to supervise and encourage the students timely.

                                                                                 ONE Instructive Handbook
How to make health insurance? How to apply for the scholarship? How to choose academic mentor? How to prepare for the oversea study? To gave instructed answers to questions of all new students were concerned about, we printed the Handbook of 50 Frequently Asked Questions. The book with easy-to-understand language was designed accordingly with all our college experience in freshmen reception. It explains to the readers the general situation of our college, the talents training model and the student management system, so as to accelerate student transition from middle school life style to the college style.

                                                                                       ONE Family Photo
To record the great moment of becoming a new member of Youren college, a photography activity was organized. Each new student and their family could enjoy free family photoing and get two filmed pictures instantly, one of which will be for family while the other one with parents’ hopes and wishes written on will be collected into the college albums.  

                                                                                ONE Enrichment Meeting
To improve the service quality for the freshmen reception, CIE organized all volunteer receptionists a training meeting. The attendees were informed of the importance of freshmen reception and the working plan of this event. In addition, the requirements and procedures were highly emphasized. All volunteers are supposed to show the parents the high quality of our college student, politeness, friendliness, considerateness and hospitality.
