On the afternoon of 10th November, CIE Bio-Engineering Class 132 enjoyed a wonderful class of English Skills conducted by the American Teacher Aziel Koski.

Focusing on the topic Relationship, Mr. Koski’s teaching mainly covered the enrichment of vocabulary and the training of oral English. First, he organized the brainstorm of word collection about Relationship which were then compared in meaning and context use. The explanation was also illustrated with cultural differences between Chinese and English.

Then came the most exciting part--- Dating Service, a self-design role play as the practice session. All students are required to take turns to play a role, whose diction and facial expression perfectly finished their task. In the lively atmosphere, the students had their ability to express personal ideas greatly improved.  

Different from mechanical and tedious grammar and words study, this class familiarized the students with the excitement of learning English from a new way. To feel foreign culture while learning its language is no more a boring mission but a window showing the other part of the world.
