To further the exploration in management system of Youren College, 6 representatives of Youren College, consisting of college counselors and student representatives (from Food Science and Engineering College, Enology College and CIE) made study tour to Meng Xiancheng College of ECNU from 7th -9th November.

Established in September, 2007, Meng Xiancheng College of ECNU named after the first president of ECNU, Chinese famous educator Mr. Meng Xiancheng, dedicated to the innovation and refinement of cultivation system and the improvement of student quality of normal university. It was until March 2013 that the college were officially put into run. The study tour consisted of three activities. First, the counselors of Meng Chengxian College showed around the Meng Space and Shared Space, introducing the teacher body, student management system, facilities, student daily education and branded activities. Then, the host and the visitors had further communication at lunch buffet. Then afternoon-tea meetings on the education and management conducted by counselors and on student self-management and self-service were held separately, covering the orientation of college dormitory, the construction of student community culture, mode of talents cultivation and student affairs system. Last, the dean assistant Mz.Yang Yanhong invited the visitors to the community cultural festival, The-Est Dormitory Design Contest to experience the student ability of self-management. The student visitors interviewed the student union members and had a nice talk about the management of daily study and life, the involvement of activities, students self-management and the sense of belonging to college.   ����

It is a great success of this study tour. We benefited from their experience in management system and model of talents cultivation. In addition, it is helpful for us to refine the construction of Youren College and instructive to the counselors for the promotion of student self-management.
