To encourage the students to take more sports activities and get their classes more united, Youren College held the sports meeting of Y2014 students on 16th November. The track field of A&F north campus witnessed the spectacular competition and the compassion of all participants. Leaders from A&F Food Science and Engineering College, Enology College and CIE attended the meeting and addressed the opening ceremony. 

20 classes of Youren College were to compete in 13 track events at the meeting. The players full of enthusiasm were actively engaged in all events and dedicated to gaining glory for their group. On the other hand, the responsible judges worked strictly with the principle of Just, Fair and Open.

In addition, the cheerleaders and service team were very supportive. All these contributed and enabled the success of this sports meeting.   

The whole day fierce competition came to satisfactory end.The excellent groups and individuals were awarded prizes. Bio-science class 142, Food Science class 1409, Wine class 142 and other 5 classes won the first eight Best Group prizes. Bio-technology class 141 and other three classes were awarded High Morality Prize. When Party Secretary of CIE Mr. Ou Wenjun addressed the closing ceremony, he extended his sincere congratulations to the winner classes and individuals. He pointed out proudly that the establishment of Youren College symbolizes the launch of A&F exploration in the top-notch talents cultivation model under modern university system. The student flats were built as a second classroom in which more activities of culture and education would be organized, and formative education and citizenship education are to be offered for students. The sports meeting demonstrated the excellency and capability of Youren students, who are encouraged to make achievement in their study and work as great as they did on sports day.        

The success of this meeting is a manifestation of Youren students’ passion and vigor of youth and an exploratory practice for following students activities. Besides, the meeting promoted the communication in and between classes, as it also stimulates the students enthusiasm at sports.
