The 6th Chinese Ancient Civilization of Youren College Successfully Held

Chinese agricultural civilization and the love for Chinese agriculture, rural areas and farmers had always taken priority in A&F virtue education. Therefore, themed on this typical topic of our university, the 6th Chinese Ancient Civilization of Youren College was held on the evening of March 13th in the Xiushan Center on north campus. Professor Fan Zhimin was invited as honorable lecturer of this report where CIE Dean Professor Chen Yuchun serves as host. 

On the topic of Research of Sustainable Development of Agriculture in Chinese Agricultural Civilization, Professor Fan’s lecture consisted of five parts, which were introduction, the abundant natural resources of our country, the culture of effective system, agricultural industry with Chinese characteristics and the functional complementation of civilizations. He pointed out in his speech that, agriculture was more than an key industry and economic section for the survival of human beings. It has always been functioning as a political and educational role. The students benefited more at the Q&A session in which their questions got perfectly solved by experienced lecturer.

This lecture enriched the students knowledge in status quo of sustainable development of Chinese agriculture and rooted the love for agriculture in their hearts. It also inspired the students to realized their responsibility in this career as a member of agricultural university.
