At N&F Y2015 Meeting on the morning of 2nd March, CIE was honored Y2014 Excellent College Award, the third time winning this award since its establishment in 2008. One more cheerful news, CIE took the second prize of National Teaching Achievement with The Exploration and Practice of Top-notch Innovative Talents Cultivation at Agricultural and Forestry University.

2014, the year of Administration Reform of A&F witnessed the joint efforts of faculties and students of CIE had made. Bearing in mind the year plan of university and the college, CIE did brilliant jobs in all aspects. Revising the Undergraduates Program of Innovation Experimental Classes of A&F (2014 Edition), working out the Plan of Seminar Courses of Y2014 CIE Undergraduates, launching the new Major-Oriented Redistribution of CIE Undergraduate of A&F, therefore optimizing the cultivation program of top-notch innovative talents of agricultural and forestry majors. Last year was also a harvest year of appointment teaching program where we offered 44 regular courses and opened 2 new courses---Chinese Ancient Civilization and Lectures on Frontier Academics. In addition, we have never stop practicing and promoting international education. 16 students were awarded the opportunity for overseas visit study and 3 student got the offer from overseas universities. Our achievement in research training program were as remarkable as those of others. We were granted 4 national undergraduate innovative experiment programs, 44 university key programs and 40 student-conducted experiments. It has been estimated that 47 academic papers were published last year, among which were 35 SCI, 1 EI, 6 first-writer papers with the average IF 3.17 and the highest 11.336. We are very proud that 17 students won provincial prizes of research or academic competition. Trophies of A&F Excellent College of Undergraduate Research Innovation, A&F Excellent College of Examination Management, A&F Excellent College Website and A&F Excellent College of Student Affairs Management for Innovation were all taken to our pocket. We have also built up the Youren College. 

We are making greater contributions in 2015, another reform year of A&F in college affairs and management.
