On the evening of 28th Dec, CIE held Y2013 Students Awarding Ceremony & New Year Evening in the Xiushan students center of A&F north campus. Deputy director of A&F Academic Division Mz. Li Julan, deputy director of A&F Student Affairs Division Mr. Wang Shengyi, head of A&F Career Development Department Mr. Xu Yaoping were invited to celebrate the coming new year with heads and faculties of CIE and over 500 CIE students.
The awarding ceremony was presided over by college deputy Party secretary Mr. Qu Yufeng, at which college dean professor Chen Yuchun delivered new year speech, making retrospect to the accomplishment gained in the past five years, proposing his expectation to the bright future of CIE and then extending his sincere thanks to all teachers and students for there hard working. Then, college Party secretary Mz. Sun Yu’ai announced the awarding lists and the distinguished guested awarded the certificates to the representatives.
Right after the ceremony, the new year evening began with the impressively grand lion dancing and belly drums show. The song Beautiful from one of the A&F top ten singers Qu Zhi gained thundering applause, as the passionate and exotic Latin dance brought the audience to the wonderland of Mexico, then drama of Battle of Chi Bi of witty diction depicted a different picture of Three Kingdoms. In addition, the dual talk show Foreign Prescription make us reflect the social responsibilities we were shouldering, while the popping street dance ET and Roaring and poetry reciting were as exquisite as any other shows. The evenings full of fun and laughters ended in the song Family.
The delightful evening was not only a audial-visual feast, but also was a manifestation of the excellences of CIE and our best wishes to the life.
