On the afternoon of November 21st 2013, the delegation including the Party Secretary of three Associate Deans of Plant Protection College of Fujian A&F University visited CIE. TheParty Secretary Sun Yu’ai, Associate Dean Wang Jun and the Deputy Party Secretary Qu Yunfeng of CIE attended the reception meeting.

At the meeting, Ms. Sun on behalf of CIE extended the sincere welcome to the visitors and then introduced CIE in terms of its establishment, development, educational philosophy, the numbers of students and the cultivation model. Mr. Lin briefed the general situation of the innovative experimental classes of Plant Protection College of Fujian A&F University which now have had three grade years of students since the first recruitment in year 2011. Focusing on the common ground in top-notch talents cultivation, two parties exchanged their ideas of students’ redistribution, Bachelor-Mater-Doctor cultivation model, mentor system, education programme, appointed-teaching system and the promotion of high-quality courses. CIE Associate Dean Wang Jun introduced the mentor-guided scientific research training and the management of noon-mentor-guided experiment and undergraduates’ scientific research programme, while Mr. Qu shared with the visitors the philosophy of student management of Youren College.

Visitors from Fujian A&F University showed great appreciation and admiration to CIE for our exploration and experience in top-notch talents cultivation. Accompanied by the heads of CIE, they visited Youren College with great joy and spoke highly of the students management system of CIE.
