Y2013 A&F Innovative Experimental Class students selection, organized by A&F Academic Division, A& F Students’ Affairs Division and CIE has been successfully completed. 60 students from other 11 colleges were enrolled after the procedures of personal application, qualification evaluation, psychological assessment and interview.

Meanwhile, following features of new students were manifested in the process of selection: they have strong learning ability, as shown by average 61.68 points higher than that of the first-tier university required scores; they are goal-oriented with critical thinking and high recognition of the top-notch talents cultivation; they are optimistic, confident and energetic; they are expressive with strong sense of cooperation. All characters above showed evidently the high quality and strong ability of the newly selected students.

The selection was attached great importance of A&F as well, that Executive Vice-President Zhao Zhong was engaged in as both supervisor and leader of examiner group. Preparation meetings organized by Academic Division, Students’ Affairs Division and CIE had been conducted several times in advance of the selection. Experts from Academic Division, Students’ Affairs Office, Plant Protection College, Horticultural College, Veterinary Medicine College, Forestry College, Natural Resources and Environment College and Life Science College and heads of CIE were invited to be examiners. The efficiency of the selection was greatly attributed to the cooperation of all departments involved.

The selection of Innovative Experimental Class is an important practice of A&F in optimizing model of top-notch innovative talents cultivation , which has been conducted annually since 2011. All the students newly selected will proceed to centralized registration, accommodation for organized management.
