On 11 July, new heads of CIE were appointed and had meeting with college faculty. A&F Executive Vice President Mr. Zhao Zhong was present at the meeting and delivered the major speech and Mr. Huang Mingxue, deputy director of Organization Department, A&F Party Affairs Committee made the announcement of the appointment of new heads.
It was announced that, Mr. Chen Yuchun would be appointed CIE Dean while no longer hold the post of CIE executive associate dean and Party Secretary; Mz. Sun Yu’ai would be appointed Party Secretary of CIE; Mr. Wang Guodong no longer hold the post of CIE Dean. Then, Mr. Huang Mingxue introduced the new Party Secretary Mz. Sun Yuai and extended the thanks on behalf of A&F to the devotion and hard work of Mr. Wang Guodong.
New Party Secretary of CIE expressed her determination of doing her best to adapt to the new team and make greater progress, cooperative with colleagues, diligent in study, responsible to work, taking any opportunity of Party activity to promote the development of CIE.
Newly appointed Dean Chen Yuchun made brief retrospect to the development of CIE, extended his thanks for the trust and support of A&F and his unmovable determination in reform.
A&F executive vice president Zhao Zhong included that, five-year exploration of CIE has gained the appreciation of peers and turned into great progress in the reform of talents cultivation model, education and teaching, student education and management, which attributed to the joint work of CIE team.
A&F has always kept eyes on the heads of CIE. The two newly appointed heads are experienced and capable, qualifying perfectly for the posts, who are expected to make more breakthrough and progress with their joint efforts.
