On 27th June, the grand 2013 Graduation Ceremony & Degree Awarding Ceremony of our college was held. In addition to the solemn degree awarding ceremony and group-picture taking activity, academic development presentation, symposium between mentors and students, as well as the buffet party were organized, highlighting this farewell event.

The past four years witnesses the encouraging achievements of all year 2009 students. In the 63 National Undergraduate Innovative Experiment Programs that 259 of our college students took part in, 10 of which were awarded excellent final report. 20 academic papers have been published, including 4 patents, 8 SCI papers, CCJ papers, and 6 first-author papers. 3 students won the grand prize, second prize and their prize of Shaanxi Challenge Cup respectively.

Among the 141 graduates of our college, 115 of them chose to further their academic study in the institutes of professor Liu Tongxian, professor Xu Jinrong and other doctoral supervisors of A&F, 10 have received the offers from American UC Davis University, Washington State University and other overseas universities, 11 will carry on their pursuit for scientific research in Beijing University, Renmin University of China and other first-class national universities.

At the academic development presentation, VCR CIE---Where My Dream Starts brought back the students their good times in the college and filled all students with proudness. Then, students representatives of national life science and technology base classes, plant science experimental classes, business administration classes and animal science classes gave farewell speeches. The student Zhang Jing Said, the advanced training model of our college guaranteed the utmost freedom of choosing the most preferable major, mentors and development of each student, which as well promised the students working on their ultimate dreams in most effective way.

At the symposium, teachers and students gathered together, looked back the past 4 years and uttered constructive suggestions. College Dean Professor Wang Guodong encouraged the students to stick to the pursuit for scientific research, to keep grateful to teachers and classmates and to be determined to the success. College Party Secretary Professor Chen Yuchun hoped the students can share their future success, happiness, confusion as well as drawbacks with their teachers who are always willing to help.

At the degree awarding ceremony, College Dean Professor Wang Guodong and College Party Secretary Professor Chen Yuchun left the tassels of trencher caps and awarded them degree. Students went onto the stage with great joy for the degree awarding, taking pictures and receiving the congratulation cheers from other students. 

At the buffet party, snacks, soft drinks and red wine were served for the students. Repeated toast of best wishes were unspoken gratitude and thanks of students to their mentors. College Party Secretary Professor Chen Yuchun recited his poem and wished all students bright future.
