On July 9th, with full preparation and strong support of all departments concerned, the 3rd group of curriculum of collaborative Honor Students programme between Wageningen and A&F university commenced in the multimedia classroom of Innovative Experimental College, and will finish in three weeks until July 27th. 40 excellent students from Innovative Experimental College, Animal Science  College and Economic Management College participated this programme.

In the first two weeks, Professor Loes Maas and Doctor Egbert Kanis from Wageningen University will cooperate to conduct the course of Research Methodology and Scientific Writing for the students majoring in economic management and animal science. In the third week, Doctor Egebert Kanis will conduct the course of Animal Breeding and Genetics for the students of animal science major. The courses of this programme will be English classes. In addition, group discussion, class discussion and the assignment of reference searching will be effective in inspiring the students, while the advanced teaching philosophy and special teaching methodology will be beneficial for the students as well.

As signed in the contact of this programme between our university and Wageningen university, this programme started from September 2012. The first two group of curriculum have been finished in the past two years. The teaching content and the curriculum requirements are practiced under the instruction of Wageningen university, as the textbooks are the original ones of W-univeristy.

This programme provides the students opportunities for enjoying the undergraduate teaching of high quality. They are expected to finish the pre-study of graduate curriculum of Wageningen University in A&F. If they can pass the test and interview, they will get the chance to further their study for Master Degree at Wageningen University with the financial support of half of scholarship offered by W-university.

This programme demonstrates the exploration and effort of our university in international cultivation of undergraduate, in which we are open to introduce first-class teaching resources from foreign countries. All departments concerned showed their support in teaching preparation, student management and international communication, which promises the success of this programme.
