At 2012 A&F Spring Sports Meeting from April 19th to 21st, our college students with great devotion and enduring enthusiasm made further noticeable breakthrough in the fierce competition.

The determined and brave athletes from our college never hesitated to accept the challenge of the fierce competition. Wu Peng Fei (Bio-technology Base Class 111) won the 3rd prize in men’s triple jump, and Sun Yachen (Bio-engineering Base Class) won the the 4th prize in men’s shot put. In addition, we also achieved greatly in the games of men’s 110m hurdling, men’s high jump,women’s discus and men’s basketball layup-relay race.

At the games, the supports of college Youth League Committee and student union was one of the keys to our success. Their devotion to propaganda, photographing, cleaning, discipline inspection and register service were indispensable in the course of the games. What's more, the cheerleaders kept cheering our athletes, whose enthusiasm were so infectious that the whole meeting was put to climaxes repeatedly.

Sports has always played a significant role in our college work. Before the games, our college had organized a series of meetings, ensuring the full preparation for the games. The college leaders also came to encourage the athletes at times. Ever since early March, with the help of the physical department of our college, the athletes and phalanx had set about to the training. It was the sense of honor that motivated every single student of our college.

No pains, no gains. Further breakthrough in sports event, the number of the athletes and scores were made at this sports meeting while our team spirit and ceaseless self-improvement spirit were found in our athletes, which would definitely infect their fellow students to worker harder.
