On 17th May, the second Science Forum of Yuantongzhi•Science Workshop of Youren College was successfully held. Doctor Zheng Lifei of A&F Science College was invited to share with over 30 students his experience in the study of Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling.

At the forum, Doctor Zheng introduced the students the mathematical modelling theories and the modelling competition. He shared his idea in learning Advanced Maths then,  in terms of the importance of this subject, the teaching and learning characters and some efficient learning methods, which eliminated the confusion of the students in these aspects.  Mr. Zheng encouraged the students to learn the maths with passion and persistence, to improve personal quality by sticking to the philosophy of ‘Examing Oneself Three Times Daily’. Embraced with the fragrance of coffee, the participants enjoyed greatly the talk.

This forum has successfully worked to further student’s understanding in Advanced Maths and Maths Modelling, and sparkled their imprison in learning maths as well.
