To make the villagers surrounding know better about World Horticulture Expo and focus more on this grand exhibition, Youth League Working Committee of our college organized a promotion activity of Approaching World Horticulture Expo, which was conducted in Village Dong to generate the climate of promoting and serving atmosphere.  

    To guarantee the promotion, a lot of preparation had been conducted in advance. Village Director assistant Zhang Jie and Fei Lingling, who were both students form College of Innovation and Experiment conveyed in details all promotion members about the information concerned and points for attention in World Horticulture Expo. The team shared their ideas about how to make the promotion function as being expected, for which they had been well-prepared with printed advertisements as a matter of convenience for villagers.

    On that day, guided by the Village Director Assistants, the volunteers divided into three groups visited villagers scattering in 8 village streets, informing them the knowledge concerning the World Horticulture Expo, including its background information, the best tour route, prices of tickets, notices concerned and the concept of Green-Leaded Fashion, in terms of oral explanation and material delivery. The practice of students achieved great success, for being appreciated much by the villagers who found themselves enthusiastic about the expo and benefitted from this activity.

    Voluntary promotion activity of Approaching World Horticulture Expo not only enriches villagers’ knowledge about the exposition, but also improves students’ communicative and practical abilities. In addition, it served to raise students’ awareness of service, advancing the implement of our college activity of Creating Excellence.
