Serial Report of Open Mode Teaching II-Vibrant Class of Basic Tenets of Marxism

  On the morning of May 19th , the teacher of Humanities College, Zhang Kun was giving a class of Basic Tenets of Marxism titled Law of Value, to the students of economic management major of class 091, 092 and the students of animal science major of class 091. Students’ independent lecture and teacher’s comments were the dominant teaching methods of this class. 
The theme of this class was Law of Value
  In total, there were seven groups of students taking the floor and providing their performance.  They inform in derail the basic content, manifestation and function of Law of Value to the class. What was more, each group had its own focus and innovation, whose presentation started from different points and helped the student deepen their understanding of the Law of Value. The student Wan Shan introduced the basic content of the law of value with classical examples, and illustrated the function of the Law of Value with the image of Stick, Whip and Sieve; while the student Zhao Xu deepened students understanding of Law of Value via typical case completed in role-play approach. In addition, the student Li Pei compared the law of value to love, and introduced reasonable interpretation of the Law of Value through this vivid metaphor, who finally conciliated both teacher and the classmates. Miss Zhang made comments on each student’s performance and offered her advice, she spoke highly of students’ enthusiasm, innovative way and their deep thought on the Law of Value. She also helped the students to recognize their problems and shortcomings.
  It was the student who dominated the whole class. The teaching content was close to students and their real life. The interaction between teacher and students or among the classmates vivified the class atmosphere, which fully revealed the autonomy and innovation of students’ self-study.
