Innovative Experimental College, Department of Foreign Languages and College of Enology co-organized the “Sanxiaxiang Experience Exchange and Mobilization Meeting” at the lecture hall of the Department of Foreign Languages at 7:30pm on May 24th.

The meeting was committed to the long-term development of the “Sanxiaxiang” social practice in summer vacation of Northwest A&F University and encouraging active participation by displaying the significance of such activities. Besides, it provided reference and suggestions for those who intend to take part in “Sanxiaxiang” by showing the previous activities in form of experience exchange.

During the exchange meeting, the representatives of four outstanding teams from three colleges took turns to share their social practice experience in summer vacation. The four presenters systematically described the objectives of the "Sanxiaxiang" practical activities, the key aspects that deserve attention, how to prepare the project approval defense and how to sort materials at the last stage. They also detailed solutions to some specific problems. At the end of the meeting, the representatives gave answers to the questions actively raised by students at present, clearing their doubts and deepening their understanding of the summer social practice.

“As poverty alleviation and rural revitalization are the hot spots this year, we encourage active participation in poverty alleviation. Meanwhile, we should keep a watchful eye on safety issues including self-safety and team safety” said by Teacher Yin Chuansong who introduced “Sanxiaxiang” in terms of the current situation, significance and important issues of the practical activities of our university. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and preparation with the example of his own “Sanxiaxiang” experience. He also suggested more publicity to expand the influence of the activities and appealed for more participation in the volunteer activities.

The mobilization and exchange meeting broadened students’ horizons and stimulated their enthusiasm for devoting themselves in the practical activities. What’s more, it deepened students' understanding of social practice which laid a solid foundation for their future development.
