On the evening of June 2nd , CIE seniors debate team farewell match was successfully held in the multimedia classroom of our college.

The contest is themed on "Do humans need time machine?". The two sides of the competition are CIE graduate team and the fresh-more team. This debate is very different from the previous ones. The eight debaters are no longer as aggressive as usual. Instead, what can be seen are their modesty and sensibility. They even turn the debate field into a poetry conference. The pros and the cons are no longer swearing, but addressing the other side with the title of CIEer. In the most intense free debate, the pros and cons are humorous yet sharp, winning the fascinated audience  cheers and applause. Finally, the farewell match ended in a farewell slide prepared by the junior grades for the seniors.

This competition allowed us to appreciate the mien of CIE seniors and the infinite potential of the younger CIEers. The farewell match never means leaving, as it actually represents the inheritance. Wish all the Y2014 Zhixing Debating Team members another pleasant journey. If only we had a time machine and could have another chance to hear their words on the stage: On behalf of CIE, we are glad to meet you here!

This debate will help to enhance the students love and loyalty to NWAFU and CIE, and effectively implement the education, management and service of the 2018 graduates.
